মঙ্গলবার (২৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি) বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের বিজয় ২৪ হলের ছাত্রীদের মাঝে হল সংসদের সহযোগিতায় এ বিতরণ কার্যক্রম পরিচালিত হয়।
এ ব্যাপারে বিজয় ২৪ হল সংসদের ভিপি সানু আক্তার নদী বলেন, ‘পবিত্র মাহে রমজানের সৌন্দর্য হলো আনন্দ ভাগাভাগি করা এবং একে অপরের পাশে দাঁড়ানো। সেই লক্ষ্যকে সামনে রেখে আর্থিকভাবে অসচ্ছল ছাত্রীদের জন্য বিআরএফ ইয়ুথ ক্লাবের উদ্যোগে এবং বিজয় ২৪ হল সংসদের সহযোগিতায় ইফতার সামগ্রী বিতরণ কর্মসূচি আয়োজন করা হয়েছে। এই আয়োজনের মাধ্যমে আমরা সম্মান ও ভালোবাসার সঙ্গে সহায়তা পৌঁছে দিতে চেয়েছি। এ উদ্যেগে সকলের পরিচয় সম্পূর্ণ গোপন রাখা হবে।’
বিআরএফ ইয়ুথ ক্লাব, চট্টগ্রাম বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় শাখার সাধারণ সম্পাদক আজিজুর রহমান আবদুল্লাহ বলেন, ‘পাবলিক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে অনেক অসচ্ছল শিক্ষার্থীরা পড়ালেখা করে। অনেকের আর্থিক সমস্যা থাকা সত্ত্বেও তারা অন্যকে বিষয়টা জানাতে পারে না। আমাদের লক্ষ্য এমন শিক্ষার্থীদের মাঝে সহযোগিতা পৌঁছে দেওয়া।’
